Why JOin the First TEe?
Golf and life lessons are seamlessly interwoven into The First Tee curriculums at every level of the program. From age 7 through 18, kids progress through different levels by demonstrating The First Tee Nine Core Values, life and golf skills and passing an assessment.
THE COST IS $85 PER CHILD FOR MOST CLASSES – THIS INCLUDES EQUIPMENT, PROGRAM MATERIALS AND INSTRUCTION. CLASSES MEET 1X PER WEEK FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR. SESSIONS ARE 6-8 WEEKS LONG DEPENDENT ON WEATHER.
The levels are outlined below – please register your child for PLAYer level (age appropriate) if they are new to the program. If your child is a returning participant and you have questions about their level, please contact our Program Director, Pam Boccaccio.
PLAYer (Beginner) – Tee up for the first time and learn the game of golf and core values.
Par – Focus on interpersonal and self-management skills on and off the course.
Birdie – Emphasis on setting goals and making them a reality.
Eagle – Learn resilience, conflict resolution, and future planning.
Ace – Put it all together and hone in on setting goals, career education, and giving back to the community.
